Our History:
The
Ephrata Area Education Foundation is a non-profit
community-based organization that is dedicated to enriching the
educational opportunities offered by the Ephrata Area School
District (EASD) by securing financial support and providing
leadership.
Founded
in 2004 as a means to provide additional funding to the public
schools in the Ephrata Area School District, the Foundation is a blending of community,
business, and school leaders to foster a positive educational
environment throughout the district.
Mission Statement:

To encourage academic excellence at
Ephrata Area School District public schools by supporting
valuable programs that enhance the learning process and have
a positive impact on student achievement.

methods and technologies that are supported by academic
research or proven in the field.

To provide opportunities for teachers
to develop innovative classroom projects or expand existing
coursework through teacher grants.

To seek to broaden community
involvement in the educational process.

To promote productive enhancements to
programs that expand and enrich the existing curriculum at
Ephrata Area School District.
